Every girl has a dream!

Unfortunately, in our country, the struggle of a girl child begins way before she is conceived. Sadly even to this date, after all the propaganda and ‘strict’ laws, female foeticide is still on the go and very worrisome. Woefully, cheap abortion technics today allow families to choose sons over daughters. The girl is ‘lucky’ if she is allowed to be born. But it doesn’t stop at that, following birth, she faces discrimination and oppression. Proper nutrition is a compromise, and preference is given to her male siblings. Not much importance is given to her education too, and many parents prefer their sons to go to school and daughters to stay at home, cook, and do household work. And marriage is a different story by itself; the trials, turbulence, oppression, and even violence in her new home, is something that is scary and a nightmare, and sometimes she endures it all.
